MMIC Group recently hosted a corporate meeting featuring two dynamic team building activities; bike building and painting. The interactive experience encouraged their group to communicate and motivate each other while giving back to the community. Each bike built was donated to a child in need. Activities were coordinated through proutyproject.com and Erik's Bike Shop.
The Children's Hospital Association hosted their annual Table Talk event. The luncheon featured distinguished women such as Lori and Julia from mytalk 107.1, Amelia Santaniello from WCCO and Rena Sarigianopoulus from KARE 11. The women shared their career and life experience over lunch while raising funds for a great cause.

The Minnesota Wild Foundation, along with West Bend and Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, chose A'BULAE to host the Wild About Children Event in December. As the premier fundraising event for the Minnesota Wild Foundation, guests enjoyed a memorable night as the entire roster of Minnesota Wild tied on aprons and picked up serving trays to deliver scrumptious winter meals catered by Mintahoe. The reception included wine and hors d' oeuvres, a silent auction, special martinis, celebrity photo booth and the opportunity to mix and mingle with the Wild players!

Lyft, the popular San Francisco-based car sharing company that is revolutionizing taxis, recently established its presence in Saint Paul. We were happy to host their launch party here at A’BULAE. Along with live music and a busy dance floor, the party featured an open liquor bar, a build your own s'mores bar complete with handmade marshmallows, and a photo booth.

For two years in a row, the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce held their Annual Chamber Honors Gala, a red carpet, black-tie optional event at A’BULAE. Five local businesses are honored with Deubener Awards for outstanding achievement and two individuals were recognized for their volunteer work, meriting praise from our community. The evening included complimentary valet service, hors d’oeuvres, entertainment, good conversation, and a champagne toast honoring award recipients!
We were thrilled to host this years People Incorporated's Changing Minds Luncheon. The event included William Cope Moyers as the keynote speaker. William is Vice President of Public Affairs at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. This special fundraising event was aimed at changing perceptions around mental illness in society.

The honorees — selected from hundreds of nominations — were recognized for their outstanding professional achievements, as well as their taking a leading role in the Twin Cities community. The Associate Board of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities held their Spring Thaw event at A’BULAE. It was an experience like no other, benefiting the youth of our community. Guests spent the evening enjoying live music and entertainment, including a DJ, Jazz ensemble, interactive attractions as wells as a silent and live auction.

The St. Paul Foundation celebrated their 75th anniversary with a private, invitation-only, dinner at A’BULAE. The keynote for the occasion was
singer/songwriter/actor/producer/civil and human rights activist and freedom fighter Harry Belafonte, a.k.a. “The King of Calypso.” The St. Paul Foundation’s theme for the event was “Celebrating Years of Generosity.”
